Yusuke Hanai was born in Japan and by the time he was 17 found his life calling-art.
Moved by Kerouac and Grateful Dead’s album art created by Rick Griffin, Hanai moved to San Francisco to study illustration.
The rest his history and Yusuke Hanai has been a designer and illustrator ever since.
When Stance reached out to him at his home in Japan with the idea to reimagine Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse he immediately was drawn to the classically hip- retro Mickey Mouse he grew up knowing.
The Walt Disney Collection is the reminder that all dreams are possible with a little anything imagination
