American streetwear brand
Shepard Fairey is one of the most famous American street artists in the world, notably for his Barack Obama "Hope" mural, his huge street masterpieces, and before that, his André the Giant stickers. For the record, he created these stickers while studying design in Rhode Island in 1989 and they would have a resounding popularity. Then in 2001 he created his emblematic brand: Obey. His designs are influenced by rock music, skating, pop and art. So is his streetwear brand, that flirts with counter-culture and non-conformist creation.
